When I laid my hands on today's newspaper, I knew that I was going to keep it forever.
The performance of Rahul Dravid in particular and the Indian team in general in the Adelaide test took the breath out of me.
On that consequential Tuesday, I was awaken from sleep by the alarm ring set at 6 am. I didnt want to miss the action. And I watched, in all the excitement and nervousness, India reaching out to that phenomenal feat. I had to attend an interview and left home when India needed 38 runs to win. The way VVS Laxman hit those three 4s reassured me that India would win.
As I was waiting for my train, I got an SMS from my friend breaking the news of Indian victory. It was simply an euphoric moment.
Keep it up India...(y)
This report tells how Indian media celebrated the victory.
